“Bioeconomy as provider of solutions for sustainable agriculture: Opportunities and challenges for the development and use of bio-inputs” is a pre-congress day in the context of the 27th annual conference of the International Consortium for Applied Bioeconomy Research (ICABR) 2023. The event will take place in hybrid format on 3 July 2023, and is organized by two of the international cooperation projects financed by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL): the German-Argentine Dialogue on Sustainable Agricultural Innovations, implemented together with the Argentinean Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries (SAGyP) and National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), and the German-Brazilian Agricultural Policy Dialogue.
This event aims to bring together international and national experts from academia, business, government, and technical cooperation with the objective of exploring in depth what is the real contribution of the bioeconomy to sustainable agriculture at the macro level. Through the exchange of knowledge and experiences between Argentina, Brazil and Germany, the thematic approach will focus on issues related to the state of the art of research and development and the regulatory frameworks available in the field of bio inputs that are key to the development of sustainable agriculture.
